Introduction
NCI Technology, Inc., doing business as Accuro (“Accuro,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have regarding your information when you use the Accuro mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
We may collect personal information including your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, height, weight, profile photo, fitness goals, and studio affiliation. We may also collect health and fitness information such as heart rate, workout history, calories burned, exercise performance, body weight, blood pressure, body measurements, activity statistics, achievements, and other information you choose to enter.
Device Information
We may automatically collect device identifiers, IP address, operating system, device model, app version, language settings, crash reports, diagnostics, and analytics information.
Location, Bluetooth, Camera and Photos
With your permission, Accuro may access GPS location to support app features, Bluetooth to communicate with compatible fitness devices, and your camera or photo library so you can upload profile or other images. You control these permissions through your device settings.
Payments
Purchases made through Google Play or the Apple App Store are processed by Google or Apple. Accuro does not collect or store your payment card information.
Analytics
We collect analytics and crash information to improve app performance, stability, usability, and customer experience. Analytics information is never sold.
Health Platform Integrations
If you choose to connect Google Fit, Apple Health (HealthKit), or another supported health platform, Accuro may access health information you explicitly authorize, including heart rate, workouts, calories, steps, distance, weight, blood pressure, body measurements, and related fitness data. This information is used solely to provide user-facing functionality such as workout tracking, progress reporting, heart rate monitoring, coaching, and fitness analytics. Accuro does not sell health information or use it for advertising. Google Fit information is handled in accordance with Google’s API Services User Data Policy. Apple HealthKit information is handled in accordance with Apple’s HealthKit requirements and is never used for advertising or data mining. You may revoke access at any time through your device settings.
Push Notifications
With your permission, Accuro may send workout reminders, class reminders, achievement notifications, studio announcements, account updates, and important service notifications. You may disable notifications through your device settings.
How We Use Information
We use your information to create and manage your account, provide workout tracking, synchronize data, communicate with compatible equipment, improve the Services, provide customer support, send notifications, maintain security, detect fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers, with your connected fitness studio when necessary to provide coaching and workout functionality, or when required by law.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Data Retention
We retain account and health information while your account remains active. Information is retained until you delete your account or request deletion. Limited system logs, backups, and security records may be retained for a reasonable period when necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, troubleshooting, or backup restoration. Information no longer required is securely deleted or anonymized.
Requesting Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by emailing [email protected] using the email address associated with your account. After verifying your identity, Accuro will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days unless retention is required by law. Deletion may permanently remove workout history, heart rate history, weight history, blood pressure history, achievements, profile information, and other account data.
Your Choices
You may update your account information, revoke permissions for location, Bluetooth, camera, photos, notifications, or connected health platforms, and request deletion at any time.
Children’s Privacy
Accuro is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International Users
If you access the Services outside the United States, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information where permitted by applicable law.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Last Updated date and may also be communicated through the app or website.
